The assessment available on the MEDGm website does not create a provider-patient relationship between the person completing the assessment and MEDGm. OpenLoop Health, a network of U.S.-licensed providers who follow rigorous medical protocols designed for patient safety, has established exclusion criteria to determine whether a person does not qualify for GLP-1. The responses a person provides on the MEDGm assessment consequently determine whether they are excluded from eligibility for GLP-1 medications, and an OpenLoop Health clinical professional will meet with the person after payment to determine whether they qualify for a prescription. OpenLoop Health clinical professionals retain the decision to prescribe compounded GLP-1 to patients.
All claims and benefits on this website refer to self-reported data from GLP-1 clients on a treatment plan that includes compounded GLP-1 medications and consultations with clinical professionals. Clients reported their weight on their initial medical questionnaire and subsequently every 3-4 weeks. Results may vary and depend on individual adherence, provider guidance, and lifestyle changes, and may be affected by the recommendations of their clinical professional.
Compounded GLP-1s are produced in FDA-regulated facilities. Although these facilities are highly regulated, the medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated for safety, efficacy, or quality. The decision to use compounded medications is guided by the medical judgment of the licensed provider, which is based on a telemedicine consultation and the patient's medical history. We recommend that all prospective users of compounded medications speak with their provider about the specific risks and benefits associated with their use. MEDGm does not produce compounded medications, and individuals may receive medications that look different from those shown on the website.
